The opening reception was a blast. It wouldn’t be possible without all the guests who came to the gallery and without the dedicated staff of SCAA. Therefore, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who came and showed their support to artists, and a big thanks to organizers of this exhibit, especially Jason Fong - the exhibitions director.I couldn’t have dreamed of a better arrangement of my works and, honestly, the works of all the artists were displayed in the best possible way. The Attleboro Arts Museum has invited U.S. artists to submit interpretations of “USED” in all mediums, sizes and concepts.The call drew 297 artists from Maine to Hawaii who digitally submitted 478 works for guest juror Russell LaMontagne, founder of LaMontagne Gallery in SoWa, Boston, to review.Over 130 pieces were selected to appear in the museum’s Ottmar Gallery, including my work, photograph “Tea Bag” :) The public is invited to attend a free opening awards reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 17.
