I am hugely excited to share that my  work “Yellow Flowers” received Honorable Mention at the 35th Annual Rhode Island Open exhibit. Of course, a big thank you to jurors Karen Harris and Lois Harada. The Warwick Center for the Arts (WCFA) received 103 artwork submissions from 44 artists. The final selections includes 34 artists showing 62 works of art representing all media. The exhibition is on view from October 16 through November 20, 2021.

The 9th Annual Poetry & Art Exhibit, October 6 - 24, 2021

Wickford Art Association opened its 9th Annual Poetry & Art Exhibition, focused on the theme of “Color”. 42 juried artists created work that was paired with an unknown juried poet for their poetic response. On the opening reception I learned that Patricia McAlpine created a beautiful poem “Our Planet” based on my image “Green”. All artworks and poems were memorialized in a beautiful 2021 Poetry & Art limited-edition book which will be submitted  to The Poets House library— one of America’s premiere poetry libraries in New York City. Each edition of Poetry & Art has been submitted to The Poets House collection. The show offers some great art and poetry combinations and is on view through  October 24th in WAA’s gallery at 36 Beach Street, Wickford.
