The Attleboro Arts Museum has invited U.S. artists to submit interpretations of “USED” in all mediums, sizes and concepts. The call drew 297 artists from Maine to Hawaii who digitally submitted 478 works for guest juror Russell LaMontagne, founder of LaMontagne Gallery in SoWa, Boston, to review.Over 130 pieces were selected to appear in the museum’s Ottmar Gallery, including my work, photograph “Tea Bag” :) The public is invited to attend a free opening awards reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 17.
It seems that my work “In Good Company” is indeed in good company :)
It was said that Jan Armor had carefully reviewed over 100 submissions, and as a juror he had a difficult task. He noted that the submissions were very competitive, and there were many impressive entries to choose from. Please stop by and check for yourself, the Artists’ Reception will take place on June 9 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Also featured in this exhibit was miniature art created and submitted by Bristol Art Museum members. I’m happy to say that my work “Blue Bug” received Recognition Award from BAM.
